JDM Vehicle Import Packages: Our Options and Pricing

Package One: Standard+Export

This is our entry-level package, ideal for customers looking for cost-effective importation packages and who are comfortable managing some steps of the process themselves.

Included Services:

- Form 1 filing (for Canadian importation compliance)

- Comprehensive pre-shipping inspection (from available auction locations across Japan)

- Auction bidding service and auction fees

- Japanese recycling fee and consumption tax

- Documentation and export paperwork processing

- Radiation testing

- Bank currency exchange and international wire transfer fees

- Certified translation of the export certificate

- Arrangement of towing out of the port (in Canada)

Important Note:

This package does not include transportation within Canada or any local registration or inspection costs. You are responsible for handling transportation from the port and any provincial fees or inspection processes on your own.

Package Two: Premium+Export

This all-inclusive package covers every step required to legally and safely deliver your JDM vehicle from Japan to your doorstep (or designated drop-off location in BC). Once you've selected your dream JDM car, we'll manage the logistics, fees, and paperwork involved in getting it across the ocean and into your hands.

What’s Included:

- Export handling & compliance processing in Japan

- Canadian customs clearance & brokerage fees

- Port storage and unloading charges

- Towing or local transportation from port to final destination

- Fuel costs to deliver the vehicle

- In-transit insurance coverage

- Time & labor involved in coordination, handover, and communication

Client Responsibility:

- Please note that provincial safety inspections (e.g., CVSE or out-of-province inspections), PST, and registration taxes are not included. These must be completed by the customer based on your local requirements.

Package Three: Turn-Key

CASE BY CASE BASIS: INQUIRE DIRECTLY FOR QUOTE.

Our most comprehensive and worry-free package, perfect for clients who want us to handle every single step, from auction win to BC registration. Your vehicle will arrive ready to drive and register.

Included Services:

Everything from Package One and Two, plus:

- Full compliance and safety inspection coordination in BC

- Installation of Daytime Running Lights (DRLs)

- Headlight aiming and marker light conversion

- Any mechanical work required to pass inspection (tires, brakes, etc.) — labor included, parts billed additionally

- All paperwork and processing to ensure your vehicle is road legal and registerable in British Columbia

We take care of the entire export/import process for you so that the vehicle is essentially turn-key by the time you receive it.

Delivery Considerations

Transportation is included in both Package Two and Package Three within our standard delivery area. For destinations outside our range, additional delivery arrangements or self-pickup may be necessary. Reach out to confirm if your location qualifies for included delivery.

Why Export & Import Fees Are Separate

When bringing a vehicle in from Japan, there are two sides to the process:

1. Export Fees (Japan side) – These cover everything needed to legally purchase and ship the car out of Japan. This includes auction fees, inland transport to port, de-registration, export paperwork, and loading/shipping charges.

2. Import Fees (Canada side) – Once the vehicle arrives in Canada, there are entirely different costs: customs clearance, 5% GST at the border, brokerage, port handling, and towing to your chosen location.

Because these services involve different countries, companies, and legal requirements, the fees must be charged separately.
